Math

Math is taught by Mrs. Zaccheo. She is a good teacher. We have had many cool projects in Math this year where we have to use math in real life situations. The project I chose to share on this digital portfolio is the Math Counts Video Challenge. In this project, we entered a competition called Math Counts. We were in teams of about 3-4 people. Our task was to make a video that solved a math problem in a real world situation. To learn more about the competition, click here. We had to choose the problem from their 6th grade textbook.

This assignment shows my ability to show how to use math in a real-world situation. Also, this is the first time I made a video using a greenscreen and so many props so it was a cool experience. Another reason this shows my best work is because we worked in pretty big teams, so we had to work together.
