Language Arts

Language Arts is taught by Mr. Podczaszy. He is a very good teacher. In Language Arts, we do many mini-projects. For this Digital Portfolio, I chose to share my biography. We wrote a biography about our person of choice. I chose to write mine about Mahatma Gandhi. Firstly, we researched about our person. Then we made a timeline of the major events in their life. and then wrote our biography. Click here to see my biography.

This assignment shows my ability to write a biography about a famous person in chronological order. Also, it shows that I am capable of researching from many sources, paraphrasing them, and using them together in one piece. I think this piece resembles some of my best work, because I wrote it long and detailed, and I took quite some time on it. Lastly, I really liked the project because we could choose who we would learn more about.
